About Us

East Lothian Young Archaeologists Club meets approximately once a month at the weekend, often on a Sunday afternoon.  We are always happy to welcome new members and would suggest that you might like to come along to a meeting to meet us when we can give you the necessary membership, medical and photographic permission forms to fill in.

Current Project: Farming from the Neolithic until Modern day (Part of Celebrating Rennie and Meikle 2011) with exhibition in September

Over the course of the next 12 months we will be looking at how farming has changed from the very earlest times right through until more modern times. We will be exploring Prehistoric, Roman, Medieval and Post Medieval farming practices, looking at artefacts and visiting archaeological sites. Bring a camera!!
