We are a branch of the National Young Archaeology Club (YAC) co-ordinated by the Council for British Archaeology.

The East Lothian branch of the YAC - ELYAC - was launched in May 2005 and provides children between the ages of 8 and 16 with opportunities to learn more about archaeology and heritage in an informal setting.

Our activities are designed to be both educational and funn and we are always happy to welcome new members into the Branch.

As well as being a member of your local YAC branch, can we also suggest that you become a member of the National Young Archaeologists' Club. As a member you will receive the Young Archaeologist magazine, discounted entry to museums and visitor centres, and information on the club's activities. To find out more about UK membership, please visit the YAC website.

So if you are a member... get stuck in and get posting. If you are not a member - get joining.
